DISTRICT DEBATE CAMP
Looking to improve your debate skills or join one of Ankeny’s nationally recognized debate teams next year? Ankeny Debate coaches Ethan Fredrick and Darby Rourick, both current college speech and debaters, will be offering a debate camp at Ankeny High School for all Ankeny students entering grades 7th-8th (including first time seniors!). NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! The camp will focus on research, oratory and argumentation skills used in high school debate competitions. Feel free to bring a sack lunch! The camp will cost $50 but the fun will be free!
