ANKENY BOOSTER CLUB
BASEBALL ACADEMY 2012 Ankeny High School Baseball Coach Mark Hey, the High School Baseball coaching staff and current and former members varsity baseball team will be offering a baseball camp for boys in grades 3-8 this winter. The camp will focus on fundamental skills and drills. It will prepare players for the upcoming Little League and USSSA seasons. The program will be held in the Northview Middle School Gym on five consecutive Sundays. You may choose to attend one or both sessions. If you choose to attend both sessions, there is a discount that applies.
Dates: Feb. 12-March 11, 2012.
Pricing for Two Camps:
Pitching/Offense - $110.00 Catcher/Offense - $110.00  Pitching (plus defensive instruction) Camp Agenda:
Stretching properly, pitching mechanics and drills that emphasize mechanics, drills to increase velocity, pick-off moves, defensive skills for infield and outfield. Catching Camp Agenda:
Blocking drills, framing and receiving drills, throwing drills, throwing mechanics Offensive Camp Agenda:
Proper hitting mechanics and drills that emphasize hitting mechanics, base running and techniques, bunting drills Ankeny Sports Booster Club, the Ankeny Community School District, or its appointed staff are not responsible in case of accident/injury or loss as a result of participation in these activities. Ankeny Sports Booster Club and Ankeny Community Schools DO NOT carry accident/health insurance to cover participants or spectators in any program. Refunds will only be given up to the first day of a program. After that, no refunds will be given except in the event of unforeseen medical reasons or program cancellations/postponements. All payments must be made online.
This camp is for Ankeny Community School students only.
